Food and Drink News

The Grapevine Grille have just switched their license to a B.Y.O.B. That means you can buy beer from us and enjoy it with your food in the Grille. A couple of rules to follow (there always are). You must buy food…. no just sitting and drinking…. and they cannot provide you with the necessary hardware. We’ll give you a couple of plastic cups when you order the beer… just ask. A new optionfor you to enjoy.

Beer should be enjoyed as a part of living a good life!

We operate a tasting room for beer samples and growler fills. You can stand in one place and see the whole brewery but if the brewer is there the door is always open. We’re located in Middlebury Vermont, and open Monday -Wednesday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday -Saturday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Drop in and taste for yourself! Drop-In Brewery is also the Brewing home of the American Brewers Guild Brewing School (www.abgbrew.com).

Why Drop In

An important question for us to answer. We like its connection to snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing etc. When you drop into a half pipe, a skatepark, or a wave you’re about to embark upon a big scary adventure. You’ll survive it with your skill and your expertise, and you’ll impress everybody who is watching. Then there’s the casual and welcoming phrase ‘just drop in for a beer.” Finally my late grandfather George Whitehouse would hold his glass up and say “that’s a lovely drop of beer Stephen.” That’s why we’re Drop In Brewing.

Middlebury Tasting Trail

Drop-In Brewing is a proud member of the Middlebury Tasting Trail with other local producers of wine, spirits, cider, and beer all here in Middlebury Vermont.

Hello Christine and Steve, I want to let you know after completing the guild in 2013, I have finally made the jump from practicing medicine to opening JRH Brewing. If you’re ever in NE Tennessee, please stop by. Thanks to all of you at the guild for helping me get to where I am today!
    Cheers,
    John
